Thanks to a compact crossover design with a comfortable, upright riding position (the seat height is only 830 mm), you are ready for long days in the saddle or the daily commute. The 17.5L tank capacity gives you a long range, the fairing and windshield effectively deflect the wind and the wide handlebars offer good control at low speeds – perfect for riding through heavy traffic.
The new Showa SFF-BP upside-down fork (Separate Function Fork – Big Piston, 41 mm) makes the damping independent of the travel and ensures excellent travel and perfect control. Completely independent of the driving style. The Showa shock absorber has revised spring rate and damping, while new alloy wheels, swingarm and forward center of gravity improve steering and stability. New dual 296mm discs and dual-piston calipers improve braking performance while maintaining inertia.
You’ll be amazed by the performance of this A2-compliant twin-cylinder engine. The peak output is 35 kW (48 hp), but the peak torque of 43 Nm – at just 6,500 rpm – ensures plenty of power in the lower and middle engine speed range. Exactly what you need for quick overtaking maneuvers with a passenger or with a full load. For precise control of the six-speed transmission, an anti-slip clutch makes upshifts easier and manages rear-wheel lockup during hard braking and rapid downshifts.
This cockpit is built for adventure. The negative LCD cockpit includes a speedometer, a rev counter, two odometers, a fuel and fuel consumption indicator as well as a gear and shift indicator.
